"Scudda-Hoo! Scudda-Hay!", 1948, the movie most believe was her first film appearance, but actually she is only seen in the distance in a canoe. She also appeared briefly as a waitress in "Dangerous Years", 1948, but it also gave her no credits. She lost her Fox contract and filled in time between her next movie contract as a model, posing for many black and white and color stills, and for some very good nude photography which didn't surface until years later. Ironically, it was this work that did much to boost her career. She was not re-employed until 1948 when Columbia signed her.
