It is really interesting to note how much "water" played a role    in Norma Jean's life. Among them:  Her first husband was a sailor, they lived for a time on Catalina Island. Her first pin-up photos featured her by the beach. Her very first movie              appearance was paddling a canoe in "Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay!". "Clash By Night" featured her on fishing boats. Early love affairs were with lifeguards. Husband Joe DiMaggio grew up in a fishing boat family and loved to fish. They spent time on his boat "Yankee Clipper". Norma Jeane was in "River of No       Return" but her first starring role was in "Niagara". "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" featured her on a cruise ship, and "Some Like It Hot" featured her on a beach and a yacht.  (Continued)
