Her longest single residence was as a child when she lived on Rhode Island street. Her first show for the military (to prove to the studios she could sing) was for the Marines (She killed them with the line- "Sweater girls! Take away their sweaters and what have they got???"). Her first guest appearance on television was in a skit about sailing on the S.S.      Lurline to Hawaii with Jack Benny. When Marilyn finally bought a home, she was proudest of the fact that it had a swimming pool. Her last, unfinished movie featured her swimming nude, and the very last photos ever taken of her were on a beach...
